ABC is the first and only pop music album of Yasuo Higuchi (b. 1952, 樋口康雄), whose nickname is pico as a pop artist. After making this album, he has come to engage in composition of classical musics as well as songwriting and producing for other pop artists or TV shows.

All of the 13 songs are written by Pico, who was just 19 years old at that time. At the end of the previous century, Pico was "rediscovered" and revalued. The cover version of "I Love You" produced by Yasuharu Konishi (小西康陽) and sung by Karia Nomoto (野本かりあ) also served to have the fantastic song forgotten for three decades broadly recognised again. So the recent reissue CD in 2018 is not the first one while it was initially reissued in 2001.
