Different from a typical kind of "best album," The Other: I Already Got Tired (『The Other―もうあきてしまった』) focuses on "the other" side of Kiyoshi Hasegawa (長谷川きよし, b. 1949). He is broadly recongnised as an expert of Spanish guitar just like José Feliciano, and for his hit song "Samba of Farewell" (「別れのサンバ」) in 1969. But, this album shows the musical world of Kiyoshi Hasegawa is expanding far beyond the famous song.

For (1) and (2) , I do not hesitate to say these songs are most thrilling ones among the Japanese pops in that time. While Hiro Yanagita (柳田ヒロ), Shigeru Narumo (成毛茂), Masanori Terakawa (寺川正則) and Akira Ishikawa (石川晶) play in (1), Haruomi Hosono (細野晴臣), Sigeru Suzuki (鈴木茂) and Hiro Tsunoda (つのだひろ) may play in (2), (7), (8), and (18).
These selected songs should be surprising for rock fans who have not known Kiyoshi Hasegawa, or who have known him for only "Samba of Farewell." When you listen to the song (9) among them, you will find it is nothing but a progressive rock.
